EXP3 Final Submission

Inspiration of this design came from the plan of Toyo Ito's sendai mediatheque's plan, I turned on of its hollowed columns horizontally and figured out how my functional spaces are related and hence developed it into my final model.
And the model can be downloaded from the 3D warehouse under the file names z3419853_exp3_elevator
z3419853_exp3_folly
z3419853_exp3_model
and the cryengine environment can be downloaded from frontline under the name mini mods z3419853_exp_rar

MASH UP

Original Articles:
Is it such a dated view to see them as the motors of social mobility, where people can rise with talent and hard work; where it is not about where you have come from, but where you want to get to?
The first is the introduction of digital techniques to the processes of design and documentation of architecture, to be followed with a futuristic promise of taking over the processes of construction.  In spited of the cutting-edge contributions made by laser-cut technique and fabrication, it is erroneous to think that one day in the near future the entire process of building – which is still a mixture of old craftwork, machines and industrial products- will emulate the automation and digitalisation at work in the car industry.
Our word “educate” is from the Latin: e-ducare: to lead or draw out, conduce, produce. Implied is a notion that the one to be educated must be ‘ductile’: that is plastic, programmable, conformable, and compliant.
